Hook and Learn - Continuing Medical/Dental Education Series

CME 1 - Physician's Resilience:

In conjunction with Travel Manitoba, the Office of Continuing Medical Education is please to offer 15 hours of continuing medical education to on physician resilience and wellness.

Physicians participate in 2.5-3 hours of learning per day in a web-conference. The format is a small group case-based learning format where physicians will discuss a clinical case and relevant management issues. Physicians will be supplied with a binder with learning materials and will have internet access at the lodge. Course is fully accredited.

This program will be of interest to:

Family physicians, specialists, nurses and other allied health professionals with an interest in improving the wellbeing of people working in the healthcare field.

CME 2 - Come and experience the spirit of the north woods while learning direct composite techniques through a Continuing Education Fishing Trip.

The perfect time of year to catch monster Northern Pike on a fly rod! Modern cabins complete with their own bath for great comfort and privacy. The dinning room and lounge include everything you need to make your stay comfortable and your CME a success.

What Will We Learn: There will be sufficient continuing education each morning before breakfast and for a time in the evening to fulfill CE requirements with hands on workshops and lecture. Complete hand outs will be available along with a CD to take home.
